POMEROL, a place for vices and virtues.
Since the beginning we never defined it only as a "restaurant with a wine stock" but a place that might recall a medieval square place, crossroad of meetings and exchanges, an island where to experiment recipes.
So, it's not by chance that the menu changes monthly, delighting the palate with the most exciting wines, having a good time with "theater-food" evenings too, or food & prose, or surprising wine & poetry evenings, wine-tasting events. Always trying to arouse interest and curiosity on what you are about to taste and let your mind fly free from the day just spent on your jobs and duties.
The kitchen too, under our Chef Alberto Di Stefano's supervision, has become a workshop where the same Alberto enjoys creating new courses or proposing historical recipes revisited by his hands.
Only products of high quality and respectful to seasons are our ingredients, other reason why there's a monthly change of the menu. The wine collection is composed of about 350 labels among red wines, white wines, sparkling wines and distillates, a sea of nectar to choose among for the proper wine according to courses, that's for sure, but not only: the proper wine for one's feeling, we like to say.
We would just say, in the end, that Pomerol, through these years, has become source of inspiration for our guests and vice versa guests are our endless source of inspiration.
